Inter Church Addictions Project
Substance addiction in young people in Northern Ireland is growing at an alarming rate. It is taking their young lives (read Kealan's story, under 'Personal Testimonies').
Young people hooked on substances suffer. Their families suffer. Addiction has robbed them of their freedom and self respect. Deep down they want to lead a great life, and hunger to fulfil all the promise of their potential. We can't let an early addiction derail their young lives. We must get them help. Help them to get better.
Young people suffering from chronic drug and alcohol addiction need professional support, specifically designed for their needs, in an appropriate residential setting. AND THEY NEED IT RIGHT NOW!
In Northern Ireland there is, currently, a gap in service provision for such young people. There are no dedicated, age-appropriate, residential rehabilitation facilities in Northern Ireland for young people with chronic addiction problems, presenting significant and complex needs, and requiring intensive support.

WITH YOUR FINANCIAL HELP AND SUPPORT, THIS IS WHAT ICAP IS AIMING TO PROVIDE: A REGIONAL, RESIDENTIAL REHABILITATION CENTRE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE IN NORTHERN IRELAND (please read: 'Our case for Your support' under'Funding' in left-hand menu
